Why would ordering pizza at a restaurant be dangerous for someone with Celiac?

Even if pizza bases comes in it’s own wrapping …it still gets prepared on the same counter where they roll out gluten pizzas.

Next it goes into an oven that has flour and flour dust particles everywhere. When the fire gets stoked, the flour dust goes up into the air and lands on your pizza.

Unless the place has a designated Celiac safe area for the preparation of gluten food and a separate dedicated pizza oven.

I learned this the hard way. It took me months to realize and months of being sick with nutritional deficiencies, gut damage and more.

Just because you feel okay once or twice doing it..doesn’t mean no damage is happening.
